We offer three world-class testing capabilities for fluids and hydrodynamics: field testing, simulation and lab testing.

These capabilities are designed to complement each other. They can be used separately or combined for comprehensive, in-depth analysis which is unique in New Zealand.

 

Field testing

 

A versatile low-power mobile datalogging system allows us to measure and record product performance in challenging real-world environments.

This provides accurate, valuable data for on-going product development and proof of performance for potential customers.

Our team is expert in data measurement and analysis, developing meaningful hydrodynamic testing procedures, and hydrodynamic testing in variable environments.

Simulation

 

We offer full computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis via CFX, a world-leading software package by Ansys. This simulates the behaviour of fluid systems before they’re built, allowing for greater insight and confidence through the design phase.

Our team is expert in modelling a wide range of challenging systems including non-Newtonian fluids, phase changes, thermal systems and dynamic systems.
